February 24, 2026. Today’s lunch is stir-fried bacon with celery and spinach with eggs.
February 24, 2026. Today marks my first workday after the Spring Festival holiday.
My morning schedule was light. I needed to take care of some errands at the bank, which is 2.5 kilometers away. I decided to walk there and back, easily hitting my daily 5-kilometer exercise goal.
For lunch, I had Sautéed Preserved Pork with Celery and Scrambled Eggs with Spinach, served with rice as the staple food.
The preserved pork was homemade by my cousin in Hunan and sent to me. She used free-range pork, first cured it with salt for several days, then smoked it over firewood. It tastes absolutely delicious!
This is the preserved pork.
Tonight’s dinner is scrambled eggs with tomatoes, mixed bean curd products, preserved pork with dried tofu, and shepherd’s purse dumplings.
